Meditation Workshops
Our meditation workshops cover the ABCs of meditation, including posture, breathing and concentration techniques, practical advice on creating your own meditation space at home and setting up your own daily meditation routine.
All workshops include guided meditation exercises.
Also covered: The difference between meditating in the mind and meditating in the heart, meditation through music and mantra; and the importance of a teacher.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Focuses on the "here and now" and symptom removal. It is psychotherapy that focuses on changing negative or faulty patterns of thinking into accurate, desirable ones. The objective is typically to identify and monitor thoughts and assumptions, beliefs and behaviors that are accompanied by negative emotions and to identify those that are dysfunctional and inaccurate. After recognizing these negative thoughts and behaviors they are then replaced with positive thoughts and behaviors.
